The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is committed to provide high
quality professional education for developing human resources with highly
specialized knowledge and skills. The Department dedicates itself to comply with the
requirements for continuously improving the effectiveness of the quality management
systems.
The overall personality of the students is taken care keeping in mind the following
aspects:
- To ensure all round development of the students by providing strong techno
academic infrastructure.
- To mould the technical mindset of the students according to the dynamic
technological innovations.
- To produce professionally qualified engineers who stand at the cutting edge
of the technology and provide an impetus to the global economy.

The students are trained for procedural language, Object Oriented concepts in C++
and Java. Core subjects include Data Structures, Operating Systems, Computer
Graphics & Multimedia, Database Management Systems, Theory of Automation, Algorithm
Analysis & Design, Data Communication, and Networking. To further strengthen
theoretical concepts, the students are made aware of the practical implementation
through Laboratory work and ongoing projects and programming competitions. Industry
relevant courses in ORACLE, MATLAB, Auto CAD, RATIONALROSE, VLSI & EMBEDDED
TECHNOLOGIES will be conducted as per the curriculum.
The department continuously
restructures and upgrades the curricula as well as the infrastructure, keeping in
mind the advancements of the current technological trends.
